Step into the Formatio factory and discover the typical process of crafting a reception desk or counter. With a dedicated contact person, you’ll be guided through your order and will receive regular updates until delivery. Choose either our installation service or opt for ‘supply only’— we can tailor our approach to suit your preference.
Your counter is engineered in CAD to your design and specification. We can model for strength and rigidity, ensuring that the right amount of material is used, while eliminating waste.
The CAD data is sent to production where our team cuts over 100 interlocking MDF parts for a typical reception desk or counter.
The MDF parts and supports are then slotted and glued together according to the design which provides strength and rigidity. A modular assembly is planned for long pieces to aid installation.
In this case, the completed body of the counter was sprayed with a durable 'metal effect' coating, giving it an antique gold appearance.
The final counter, finished with a Verde Indio marble, is used to welcome guests at a fine bar in a 5-star hotel.

We've frequently produced wall paneling for entrance area and corridors, often with the purpose of showcasing art in these important circulation spaces.
