As part of their wider update of a number of bank branches, the client approached to construct bespoke personalized meeting boxes which could enable quiet and confidential meeting within the wider public bank space.
Starting with a basic concept sketch from the interior designers, Formatio was responsible to develop the initial ideas into reality. We began, as usual, with further CAD development – layering viable construction details and enhancing the design aesthetic where possible.
We engineered the meeting boxes to be adaptable to the unique constraints of listed buildings in Berlin, with the diameter and height being seamlessly customized using specialized construction tools. The assembly process is ingeniously built upon a plug-in system, allowing for flexibility and ease of installation.
Ensuring a holistic user experience, both the outer and inner shell are meticulously upholstered for complete acoustic immersion. This strategic application of acoustics adds a layer of sophistication, fostering an environment conducive to focused and confidential discussions within the confines of these meticulously crafted meeting space.
